Community Update August 29: Light Updates, Heavy Workload

Happy Friday, everyone!

Today’s community update will be relatively light in contrast to the usually heavy and substantive ones you are accustomed to.

But it’s not because the Ethernity team isn’t hard at work—quite the contrary, the last couple of months have been more intense than any other time I can think of since I’ve been with the company, which is approaching a year and a half! Man, what a ride it’s been!

And the workload is accelerating even more so leading up to the launch of Fanable. The backend logistics are all being tested and double-tested to ensure that the platform runs without a hitch upon launch, including with our secure vault partner— more to come on that soon!

We also have some amazing curators that will help us launch all of our drops. If you’re in the collecting space, you will be familiar with some of our curating partners.

Guys, our goal with Fanable is very simple: to let you carry your physical collection in your pocket. Pretty simple, right? Well, it is when you use Ethernity Chain’s powerful tools to enable fast speed and nearly costless transactions, which are very much a necessity for a platform like Fanable.

All right, I got a little sidetracked talking about Fanable since it’s been the main thing I’ve been working on recently, so let me bring things back into focus: here’s the real start to the community update:

🗣️ Zealy zealots…

Yep, I told you about this at our last community update. We used Zealy to energize our community and leverage your voice to amplify our message. And we got more activity than anticipated, as over 800 of you signed up to participate in our awareness campaign.

You know the saying, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound? We live in the attention economy. And ensuring that the world hears our message loud and clear is part of what makes all the pieces of the Ethernity puzzle fall into place.

Thank you all for being part of this awareness campaign, and congrats to the winners!

🍨 Gelato gave us a shout out!

As you may be aware, we partnered with Gelato, a web3 infrastructure service provider, to make Ethernity Chain the entertainment industry’s blockchain of choice.

Gelato recently highlighted us in a recent tweet for real-world use cases in the web3 space. Check it out here.

🚰 To leak or not to leak…

We were hoping to make a cool announcement this week, but considering the market conditions and uncertainty, we decided to hold off on that for now.

BUT… to whet your appetite just a little, let me just say that we will be GRANT-ing certain people the fuel they need to bring their dream to life. I won’t say anything else about that, so don’t even think about tagging me on Discord or Twitter asking me to leak more info, because it just ain’t happening 🤐

😅 We are also working our butts off on the Ethernity mainnet. The Superbridge and blockexplorer are what’s on the menu right now.

🚀 Oh, oh, oh and I almost forgot: the Arcbound Universe continues to gain steam as it makes its way to comic book retailers this Fall. Check out this masterpiece illustration created by artist Dan Panosian.

That’s all I got for today! Enjoy your weekend fam!
